Cross-curricular centers allow Tisdale students to practice and strengthen skills such as matching, writing, gross motor, sequencing, and sorting!

Students in 4Kirch/McLaud take play-doh core samples as part of their Earth Science unit.

First graders end their "Peter and the Wolf" unit by playing headbands and guessing instruments! Was the instrument in "Peter and the Wolf?" What character was it used for? Is it high or low?

In honor of School Counseling Week, Dater students got up and celebrated our beloved school counselor, Mrs. Fishman. They shared kind words about her! She was shocked and brought to tears. Thank you, Mrs. Fishman, for being an amazing role model, who is nurturing, supportive, and helpful! ❤️💐

Tisdale 2nd graders and preschool buddies had a great start to their Play Day! Imagination and creativity at its finest!

Manipulatives provide a concrete, hands on way for students to visualize and interact with abstract mathematical concepts. Tisdale 3rd graders loved using straws to discover attributes of triangles and quadrilaterals!

Today at Tisdale: "Snow" what fun it is to have an indoor snowball fight with words we can read by ourselves! K students had a blast with this fun and educational activity!

Today Ramsey hosted its first ever Robotics competition at Smith Middle School! Teams from around the state competed in the First Tech Challenge, where teams build robots that move pieces into containers and hang them on bars.
Ramsey is the only district in the league with 3 teams - The Dusters, The Ramblers, and The Gearheads.
Congratulations to our students and staff who made this event happen. Robotics in Ramsey is on the rise!

Collaborating, communicating, and designing expectations to make book clubs in 4Horton a success! 📚

After reading The Mitten by Jan Brett, the Tisdale preschoolers had the chance to step into the story—literally! Just like the animals in the book, they took turns squeezing into a gigantic mitten. This hands-on storytelling experience helps reinforce sequencing, cooperation, and imaginative play.

3rd grade students are busy using tiles to practice finding perimeter and area of irregular shapes.

Tisdale's ceiling tile winners, Carson, Dylan, and Courtney, have been busy in the art room! Their beautiful works of art celebrate the good character and community of our school. We can't wait to display our new tiles for all to see!

There are many ways to study shape attributes- building shapes, drawing them and constructing with them. Using these varied approaches to confirm that shapes meet specific attribute criteria provides strong reinforcement of geometric concepts. Engaged mathematicians in 3Cl!
