Tisdale Preschoolers sing about Valentines Day and play finger cymbals. Working on tapping a rhythm and not playing until it's time are important skills for budding musicians!
Students in 3M are practicing telling time to the nearest 5 minutes! We enjoy learning about time because it helps us stay accountable when we need to leave the classroom for individual activities. We keep an eye on the clock and remind Ms. M when it’s time to go! Plus, it helps us answer the all-important question: "How many more minutes until lunch?!"
In this engaging math activity, students are practicing their number sense by using whiteboards to work on math problems, including subtraction and addition within 100. This hands-on learning allows them to visualize their thinking, make connections between numbers, and deepen their understanding of key math concepts, all while building fluency. Through activities like this, 2nd graders at Hubbard School are actively honing their mathematical skills and preparing for more complex problem-solving!
Today at Tisdale: 2B is learning so much about managing emotions from Ms. Collado! This helps us during the school day, at home, and in our community!

Tisdale students in 2C had a blast on the 100th Day of School! They kept track of how many times they could complete an activity in 100 seconds!

The Tisdale Preschoolers celebrated Puzzle Day by engaging with a variety of puzzles that challenged their problem-solving skills, fine motor development, and ability to work together. This activity provided a wonderful opportunity for the children to collaborate, persevere through challenges, and learn through play!
Tisdale 2nd graders are busy exploring nonfiction texts for their current animal battle research project. They're so into this one!
Global Play Day, but make it math! Tisdale 3rd graders practiced their multiplication and division facts by playing multiplication war and completing color by number drawings.
