New York Times best-selling author Gordon Korman visited Eric Smith Middle School today to share his experiences as a writer. His presentation emphasized the importance of dedication, growth, and creativity, as students were able to ask questions and learn more about a published writer's process.

Tisdale 2nd graders in 2C are having a blast learning how to measure accurately! They collaborated to practice different kinds of jumps and measured with different units.


πLast week, Sra. Kingβs Spanish III students brought their HΓ©roes unit to life, exploring cross-cultural connections through language. They teamed up with Ms. Diakosβs S.T.E.P. students to illustrate their heroes and collaborate on Spanish adjectives to describe them. More than just language learningβthis experience fostered patience, kindness, and empathy. Ramsey Schools create inclusive and meaningful learning opportunities for all students! β€οΈ

Ms. Perucki, the clinical intern from Ramapo College in Mrs. Jezequel's 5th grade Humanities class, is doing a spectacular job! Today's lesson was a strategy for using context clues to discover the meaning of unknown words. Vocabulary increases as well as the understanding of life in Ancient Greece.


Tisdale 2nd graders are beginning to learn their music for their Spring Sing! No hints on the theme, but it's going to be DELICIOUS!


Students in Ms. Mellars and Ms. Nagle's Algebra I class are learning the foundations of factoring through concrete and pictorial exploration! Using algebra tiles and colored pencils, students are modeling with mathematics and making use of patterns and different structures. Students will be building procedural fluency from conceptual understanding.
