4Guarnieri had a blast learning about how to identify the main idea, and supporting details of a text, particularly with Halloween-themed topics! These eager learners collaborated by sharing their thoughts, and then had the chance to independently apply the skill within their own texts. I am so proud of their progress!

K-Pia students are learning all about the sun in science! Ss get outside to draw plants and the sun to show that sunlight helps plants grow!☀️🌱

The Exploratory team teachers at Smith School are working collaboratively this year to develop new strategies to amplifying how they teach Ramsey PoG skills to students.
Exploratory teachers often get to see students in a different way than in other academic classes, which gives them a chance to teach PoG skills from a different perspective. Often, they are best positioned to teach skills such as Empathy, Adaptability, and Responsibility, just to name a few!

First grade is beginning their unit on 2-D geometry. Today, students identified attributes and used creativity to compose images with their shapes.

6th grade has started their unit on ratios, rational numbers, and equivalence. Today students used models to explain their thinking to their peers.

Students in Profile Project Seminar are well underway developing their projects! Today they worked on their SMART goals to support their individual objectives.

This week the Drama Workshop class at RHS presented its first production in three years.
The resurgence of this class is a sign of new interest and energy in our district theater program. Drama Workshop productions are COMPLETELY student run, giving students the chance to apply a wide range of theater skills and PoG competencies.
