Honors Design Thinking is a semester-long elective at Ramsey High School, offering students real-world experience in empathetic problem solving. This semester, students are partnering with the Ramsey Senior Center to find innovative ways to encourage residents 60+ to engage with the center.
Project kickoff:
Oct 17: Students met with Ms. Alane O’Hagan and Mr. Roger Knauss to discuss the center's operations.
Oct 24: Students visited the center, engaging with 30 seniors for direct feedback.
What's next: Students will synthesize this information to develop solutions. The collaboration continues on January 8 when Ms. O’Hagan and Mr. Knauss return to hear the students' pitches on improving senior engagement. 💙
