Hubbard School Pride Day - Friday, December 6th
Remember to wear Blue and Gold or your Hubbard gear!
The Character trait for the month of December is Generosity: Generosity means having a willingness to give or share with kindness in your heart. Spending time with someone or letting other people have a turn are ways to show generosity. Be kind whenever possible. It is always possible!

Thanks to everyone who is a part of making kindergarten a safe, enjoyable and wonderful place to learn and grow. We have incredible students, families and an all-in Hubbard School Community. Full hearts, homes and bellies!

Happy Monday! HU was excited to welcome students back home with an assembly to kick off National Inclusive Schools Week. Mrs. Linzenbold read Say Something by Peter H. At Hubbard, weβre committed to fostering respect, belonging, and celebrating the unique strengths each student brings to our community. 3-Limatola students are analyzing charactersβ thoughts, actions, and emotions while using text evidence to identify character traits. By noting specific actions or dialogue from the text and interpreting what this reveals about a characterβs emotions or motivations, students are building strong reading comprehension skills and making deeper connections to the stories they read.

Inspired by a Driving Question Board, students in 3-Lee are using a Wonder Wall to record observations about magnets, ask thoughtful questions, and share their discoveries. Students even got a special visit from Ms. Megna and were thrilled to explain what a phenomena is and provide examples from their learning! The discovery table encourages curiosity, critical thinking, and collaborative exploration, sparking excitement and deeper understanding in science.

Happy birthday to Mrs. Linzenbold. Hubbard students had so much fun showering her with notes of gratitude ππ

3-Frank caught cozying up with a good book! Our third graders are diving into Unit 2 of reading, where theyβre developing theories about characters and exploring what makes each story come to life.

Hubbard PTO Meeting - 9:15am WEDNESDAY!

Hubbard Honors Heritage: Learning About the Lenape-Munsee Tribe - In celebration of Native American Heritage Month, Hubbard School welcomed the OβBlenis family, members of the Lenape-Munsee tribe. Students explored the rich history and traditions of the Lenape-Munsee through fascinating artifacts, traditional dances (including one they joined!), and a captivating short story. This hands-on experience helped our students connect with and appreciate the heritage of our local Indigenous community.
