Tomorrow is RISE Spirit Day: Wear YELLOW - to show that you shine with respect for others.

A special thanks to our families who visited to teach us about Diwali. The children in Mrs. Reid's class loved learning about the Festival of Lights and so much fun making their own diyas. What a beautiful way to celebrate culture, community, and creativity!

Our RAMbassadors had a great meeting with Dr. Matteo today! Productive discussions and plenty of Ram pride all around.

Happy National Principals Month to Mrs. Linzenbold! Weβre so thankful for everything you do to make Hubbard such a special place ππ

There is nothing sweeter than seeing a preschooler read. π As they flip through the pages from left to right, they are beginning to make sense of pictures, build early literacy skills, and tell stories in their own words. Each page turn brings them closer to becoming lifelong readers. π

Our amazing Hubbard PTO worked hard to set up the annual Pumpkin Fair, and it was the perfect fall day! ππ We loved seeing kids being kids, laughing, playing, and making memories that make Hubbard feel like home. Thank you to our PTO for always going above and beyond for our students!

Our second graders visited the Meadowlands Environmental Center today, where they became true Salt Marsh Explorers! Students observed landforms up close, investigated the plants and animals that live in this unique habitat, and made real-world connections to their current study of landforms in science and social studies. It was an exciting day of discovery and hands-on learning for our young scientists!

π Pumpkin Fair is tomorrow after school on the Hubbard front field! ππ Join us for pumpkins, snacks, crafts, games, and fall fun with our school community. ππ

Our in-person Book Fair opened today! πβ¨ Donβt forget to stop by tomorrow and Wednesday to get lost in a good book. Thereβs nothing better than finding your next great read at Hubbard!

A preschool friend showing kindness by helping another in Mrs. Dumontβs class! π Small acts of care make a big difference at Hubbard.

Third grade students embodied our RISE values as they partnered with kindergarten buddies to play, read, and write together. ππ This cross grade level collaboration builds connection, confidence, and a shared love of learning across our school community.

Students in Ms. Leeβs class (Hubbard) are taking math to the next level by creating their own division word problems during Unit 1 of Investigations. βοΈ This activity encourages students to use their critical thinking skills as they make sense of numbers through sharing, grouping, and representing their thinking with arrays and equations.

The Ramsey Fire Department stopped by for a special visit with our preschoolers, kindergartners, and first graders! ππ₯ Smiles, sirens, and lots of learning made it a day to remember.

Wow work is happening in Mrs. Limatolaβs third grade classroom. β¨ Her walls are filled with anchor charts that students can return to as they build independence and confidence in their learning. Today, students set goals for revision by using their writing checklists with a peer to celebrate what they did well and identify ways to make their work even stronger. In a classroom where strategies are always within reach, students are set up for success.

Tomorrow Week of RESPECT Spirit Day: Wear your pajamas - Dream of a World Filled with Respect!

Collaboration, one of the core competencies of a Profile of a Ramsey Graduate, is practiced and modeled daily by our staff. Our principal, school counselor, instructional coach, and student support specialist meet together to share ideas and strategies that strengthen and support our Hubbard community. As leaders at the forefront of Hubbard School, they help guide the work that keeps our students and staff growing and thriving. Make sure you give them a big hello or even a hug when you see them for all they do to support our school.

Leaves are falling, learning is calling π Our 3rd graders are diving into the season with wonder and excitement. Every tossed leaf is a reminder that learning can be joyful, playful, and full of discovery.

Writing is a process, and sometimes it can be messy, but that is where the best learning happens. βοΈ In Ms. Leeβs class at Hubbard, one student realized his topic sentence did not match the rest of his paragraph, while another noticed how she could make her introduction stronger. These moments remind us that every draft is a chance to grow as writers. ππ
