Another day, another opportunity to show what we know β and have fun doing it! Students put their math minds to the test with Jeopardy-style challenges, sharing strategies, thinking critically, and cheering each other on along the way.





K-Shand was rocking their hats today for Lax State of Mindβs District-Wide Hat Day! π§’π Students showed their support by participating in this special event, which raises awareness and funds for research on incurable neurological diseases and provides a scholarship for a deserving lacrosse player at Ramsey High School. Way to go, K-Shand!



Beautiful day and beautiful learning happening in Mrs. Reidβs class βοΈ. The preschoolers took their learning outside, where play turned into powerful learning! As they explored and collaborated, students naturally incorporated vocabulary theyβve learned β like pappus β into their conversations. In preschool, moments like these show how language, curiosity, and observation come together through meaningful, joyful experiences.











Students in Mrs. Pianoforteβs class used their growing phonics knowledge to write full sentences during dictation today! They listened carefully, stretched out sounds, and focused on spacing, punctuation, and handwriting β building confidence as writers one sentence at a time. βοΈπ






As always, we ended the first Friday of the month with a bang β coming together as one big Hubbard family! These moments remind us how special it is to learn, grow, and celebrate as a school community.


Our Principal for the Day led with heart and Hubbard pride β even declaring a schoolwide Pajama, Stuffed Animal, and Fort Day! From announcing School Pride winners to reading with our youngest learners, this student showed that when you lead with confidence and joy, anything is possible. Just another reason why Hubbard truly feels like home!


This is what makes the Ramsey community so special β a high schooler visited Hubbard today to work toward completing her Profile Project. We love seeing connections across our schools!



Our preschoolers welcomed live caterpillars this week and became real scientists! Using their βscience eyes,β they observed, drew what they saw, and stretched out sounds to label their work β combining early science, literacy, and joy in one meaningful experience. ππβοΈ


Only 8 days to go until author and illustrator Maddie Frost visits Hubbard School! We canβt wait to meet her, learn about her books, and get inspired by her creative process. Let the countdown begin!




Third graders are getting NJSLA-ready β with strategy, teamwork, and a whole lot of fun! As mathematicians, theyβre using what theyβve learned all year: applying key strategies, thinking critically, collaborating, and explaining their solutions with confidence. Through activities like Math Jeopardy, theyβre showing that learning is meaningful and joyful. These students are ready to show an accumulation of all theyβve worked so hard to master!






Today we said goodbye to one of our amazing student teacher with lots of love and smiles β even two classroom parents stopped by to show their appreciation! Moments like these remind us how strong the school-to-home connection is at Hubbard. Student teachers bring fresh energy and heart to our classrooms, and their impact stays with us long after their time here ends. ππ







Today, Hubbard students wore green to show empathy and support for Mental Health Awareness. When we care about how others feelβand how we feel tooβwe help make our school a kinder, stronger community. π
