Did you know this week is National School Counseling Week? We want to take a moment to highlight Mrs. Linden, our amazing school counselor, who always goes above and beyond to support the whole child. π Whether sheβs checking in with students in the hallway or offering guidance when needed, Mrs. Linden makes sure every student feels cared for and understood.
Recently, one of our third graders, George, shared how thankful he was for Mrs. Linden teaching him how to take a Meta-Moment. Her guidance helps ALL students pause and reflect, which empowers them to manage their emotions and make thoughtful decisions. Mrs. Lindenβs support creates a positive and nurturing environment at Hubbard School. ππ

βLet me show you what acceptance is. One person can be sitting, the other standing, and itβs different, but we are still friends.β These thoughtful words from two of our preschoolers perfectly capture the essence of acceptance. This month, HU students are embracing acceptance by learning that no matter our differences, we can still support and care for one another. Itβs wonderful to see our youngest of learners practice kindness and understanding every day! π

Ramsey honors the legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr., a champion of education, equality, and nonviolent change.
"Intelligence plus character - that is the goal of true education." -Dr. King

HU 3rd graders learned about Martin Luther King Jr. and drew inspiration from his speech, thinking about their own dreams for making the world a better place. Answers like "Love everyone for who they are" reflect not only his powerful message but also this monthβs character trait of acceptance. Simple but powerful responses like "Sharing smiles" remind us that small steps can lead to big changes in our communities!
