Today, we celebrate Officer Scott for all the ways he makes Hubbard School a great place to learn and grow. From greeting students in the morning and giving encouraging shoutouts on the announcements to his daily interactions with staff and students, Officer Scott helps everyone feel welcome, supported, and safe. Students learned the importance of caring for their teeth today! They played a fun game to identify which foods are good and which are bad for their dental health. A great way to make learning about oral hygiene both informative and fun! 🦷

Today’s routine in 2-Royle focused on helping students prepare for regrouping and making 100. By using whiteboards to work on subtraction and addition problems within 100, our 2nd graders are actively building the skills they need for future math challenges. These hands-on activities provide a strong foundation in number sense, setting them up for success as they continue to explore more complex concepts.
Our hallway walls are filled with colorful reminders of inclusion and kindness! These beautiful student artworks showcase the powerful message: “Every voice matters.” It’s a perfect representation of the values we embrace at Hubbard School, where everyone is encouraged to express themselves and celebrate diversity.
After a great Super Bowl game, did someone say PJ day? HU students came to school cozy and ready to learn in their favorite pajamas!

Sweet friendships are blossoming in 2-Murphy! It’s wonderful to see our students building connections, supporting each other, and growing together as a class.
Kindergarteners in K-Coleman are having a blast using geoboards to create shapes and explore their mathematical thinking! 💭 Through hands-on learning, students are developing a deeper understanding of shapes and their properties. This activity ties into the Concrete-Representational-Abstract (CPA) approach, where students first manipulate physical objects (geoboards), then represent their ideas visually, and eventually move to more abstract concepts. What a fun way to build a strong math foundation!

Before -care and after-care are canceled.

School Pride Day Tomorrow! Pajama Day on Monday!
What makes the Ramsey community truly special is the strong connection between parents and the school. At the last PTO meeting, Mrs. Burns shared an inspiring update about the Defense of Learning presentation by three high school students. These students presented in front of a panel of board members, speaking eloquently and passionately about their work. This connects to the exciting opportunity for our third-grade students to participate in a Profile Project, where they can explore their learning in a meaningful way and share their insights with others.
