Arm tapping is a multisensory technique used to help Kindergarten students memorize and spell "red words". It involves tapping each letter or sound of a word down the arm, which helps connect the visual representation of the word with a physical action and strengthens memory through a combination of movement, sight, and sound!

Our Tisdale third graders learned all about Argentina by exploring its location, flag, and culture in celebration of Hispanic Heritage Month. To wrap up the unit, students collaborated on an art project inspired by soccer star Lionel Messi. The result was a vibrant, larger-than-life Messi poster that was raffled off, giving four lucky third graders the chance to take a piece of their hard work home! πŸ‡¦πŸ‡·
