πβ¨ Pumpkin masterpieces took over Tisdale School at our Pumpkin Decorating Contest! π Families brought their favorite books to life with creative pumpkin designs, from The Dot to The Wild Robot, Dog Man, and so many more! π‘π Weβre blown away by the imagination and love for reading on display!

The Tisdale preschoolers took advantage of the beautiful day and painted outside in the sunshine. Creating art in nature lets children explore colors, light, and movement all around them. Painting outdoors sparks creativity, builds focus and fine-motor skills, and fills their artwork with the joy of fresh air and discovery.





Tisdale teachers are hard at work digging into student data to ensure every child grows and succeeds! πβ¨ Together, weβre identifying strengths and planning next steps to make learning meaningful for all our students. π



Tisdale preschoolers explore retelling and sequencing their favorite stories with character stones. πͺ¨ This hands-on activity strengthens memory and comprehension, while building language, creativity, and confidence in storytelling. The stones provide a playful and concrete way to bring stories to life and help children make sense of how events fit together! ππ©΅



πAt Tisdale, our school counselor, Ms. Collado, visited Tisdale classrooms to review the Mood Meter and introduce new vocabulary to help students describe their emotions. The Mood Meter, a tool from the RULER SEL program, supports students in building self and social awareness as they learn to recognize, understand, and express their feelings. π‘π


πΆπ Today at Tisdale, our community came together for an All School Sing to celebrate our character trait of the month: RESPECT! This year, we are thrilled to launch our new Character Education Initiative, designed to strengthen our school culture and highlight the positive qualities that help our students grow both academically and socially. π Built around eight powerful traits that spell out RAMS RISE, this initiative will guide and inspire our students all year long. ππ





π 3L is always bursting with curiosity! Our Galaxy of Wonder board is a special space where students post their questions on sticky notes. During morning meeting, we journey through these wonders togetherβsparking discussion, imagination, and discovery! πβ¨





Tisdale third grades in Mrs. Crawford's class are researching and writing informational text pieces using Google Slides.



Kindergarten students at Tisdale are enjoying a soft start to their morning by building the letter A with their play dough!


Games are great ways to practice math facts! 1K is playing "Double Compare" to practice counting on. β



Tisdale students are celebrating Hispanic Heritage Month in La Clase de EspaΓ±ol! β€οΈ





During Morning Meeting in 2S, students completed a quick draw activity of something that makes them happy! Art is a great way to express our feelings and ideas! β¨π

Listening with our ears AND our imaginations!π‘Third graders in Ms. Leeβs class listened toΒ a classical piece with fun rhythmic changes while completing a listening glyph. This required studentsΒ to color portions of a picture based on the musical changes they heard, such asΒ fast, gentle, strong, and more!Β π§ π§ποΈ




During math centers, students in 2B are playing "5 in a Row with Four Cards." β This game helps them strengthen their addition fluency by adding two numbers and covering the sum. I'm so proud of these second graders for staying fully engaged and showing excellent communication and collaboration skills! π
