At today’s All School Sing, our Tisdale students learned all about accountability! 🎶💙 Our kindergarten teachers and students took the stage with skits that showed how to take responsibility for your actions, from admitting a mistake and fixing it to keeping promises and being fair. 💛✨ A wonderful lesson in character, community, and growing together!

Today, our 2nd graders at Tisdale took on a team-building challenge while tracking their emotions on the Mood Meter 💛💙❤️💚. Many noticed their feelings shift as they built bridges with their partners, proving emotions can shift quickly, even in fun moments! While lots of bridges passed the stability test, what we’re most proud of is how everyone showed up as their best self by communicating, collaborating, and cheering each other on 💪✨

This week, 2Cr acted as scientists at the Buehler Challenger Space Center in Paramus. As scientists, the students performed experiments and learned about filtration of dirty water, how water reacts to different materials, and tested the material that they thought would be best for an astronaut uniform.

Arm tapping is a multisensory technique used to help Kindergarten students memorize and spell "red words". It involves tapping each letter or sound of a word down the arm, which helps connect the visual representation of the word with a physical action and strengthens memory through a combination of movement, sight, and sound!
