October is Disability Employment Awareness Month! Working across the district allows us to build not only our vocational skills but also our interpersonal skills. Grateful for our work experience at Tisdale helping the one and only, Mrs. Cedola, in the media center.
The RHS History Club spent Thursday exploring out nation's Cold War era history at Nike Missile Site NY-56 on Sandy Hook. They heard from Army veterans about the decisions that needed to be made to keep the United States safe from a nuclear attack, then spent some time at the Sandy Hook Lighthouse, the oldest operating lighthouse in the US.

How do history and culture impact our identity? How does fiction give us insight into ourselves? Ms. Consiglio and Ms. Colucci's Sophomores will be thinking about these questions as they select and read choice books for their upcoming English II "American Identity" unit.

Relationships are key, and today is National Spread Joy Day. What better way to spread joy than to shower the people we care about with birthday love?! Grateful our students get the opportunity to build meaningful relationships with peers and Ramsey staff beyond our classroom.
