Students in Ms. Incardona's Fashion Marketing program recently stepped out of the classroom and onto the sales floor through an innovative partnership with Hazel, a popular local boutique. The collaboration provided students with the rare opportunity to execute a professional social media campaign from concept to completion.

From Storyboards to Storefronts

The project challenged students to act as digital marketing consultants for the business. The process began with intensive brainstorming sessions and the development of professional storyboards designed to align with Hazel’s unique brand identity.

After refining their concepts, the student teams visited the boutique to film high-energy promotional content. Working on-site allowed them to navigate the real-world challenges of retail lighting, product styling, and capturing the "vibe" of a physical storefront.

Bridging the Gap

The partnership aimed to provide Hazel with fresh, trend-forward content for their social media platforms while giving students invaluable "live-client" experience.

By the end of the collaboration, students walked away with portfolio-ready material, and Hazel gained a library of custom content to engage their online community.
