The Ramsey Fire Department visited Hubbard School to teach our preschool, kindergarten and first grade students all about fire prevention and safety. We even got our own cool hats! #firepreventionweek
Students in 3Frank at Hubbard are focused and ready to grow! During our WIN (What I Need) period, third graders work closely with their teacher to receive targeted support and enrichment, helping each student strengthen their skills and reach their full potential. Every day is an opportunity to learn and grow.
Students in 3Lee are developing their ability to reason abstractly and quantitatively by creating story problems. Why is this important? It helps them visualize math concepts, build problem-solving strategies, and apply their learning to real-world contexts!
Today, third graders at Hubbard School had a special visit from Sean from INHABIT, where they learned the importance of breathwork and meditation. Sean guided students through calming breathing exercises and mindful meditation, helping them discover new strategies to relax and focus. These techniques will help our students manage stress and stay centered throughout the school day and beyond!
Third graders in 3-Li are sharpening their math skills by using place value patterns to add and subtract quickly and efficiently! By recognizing the value of digits and applying strategies based on place value, they are building a strong foundation for success in math. Keep up the great work!
Not only do we wear blue to stomp out bullying at Hubbard, we collaborate to play with one another! Collaboration and communication help us build strong relationships and develop character traits that will last a lifetime.

Second grade mathematicians in 2-Royle are warming up by using ten frames to figure out how many counters they see. They’re sharing strategies and exploring different ways to make numbers, building a strong foundation for mental math.
Every month, we look forward to coming together as a family during our school assemblies. These gatherings are so important to us because they give us a chance to reinforce the values that make our school special. 💙💛

Hubbard School's Walk to School Wednesday was a success! Our students enjoyed a healthy start to their day, building community and independence along the way. A big thank you to Ms. Gravalis, our teachers, and community members for walking with us and making this special day happen!

Through these hands-on activities, they’re bringing their knowledge of Earth’s features to life. We can’t wait to see their creativity shine!
