Tomorrow, December 20th is a Minimum Day and Pajama Day!!

A full house of families and all smiles as students delivered an amazing performance! Thank you to everyone who came out to our Holiday Sing. Your support made the day extra special.

Joy permeating the hallways of Hubbard 💙💛 What brings you joy? Whether it’s the laughter of students, the festive spirit, or the warmth of our school community, we’re feeling the happiness all around. Share what brings you joy today!

Our Holiday Sing for HU was wonderful! 🎶 The students brought so much joy and festive spirit to the stage, spreading cheer throughout the school. It was a magical celebration of music, community, and the holiday season!

2-Finnegan is hard at work in their nonfiction writing unit, and they’re excited to gift their writing to their family members to enjoy! The gift of knowledge and creativity that keeps on giving!

When your classmate brings in dreidels for his friends as part of his Holiday Share & Tell and it becomes part of our science lesson on Force and Movement. He taught us how to pinch our fingers to both push and pull on the thin wooden part at the top which causes the dreidel to spin.

3-Jordan using cube trains to explore multiplication and division! These hands-on tools help visualize grouping, repeated addition, and sharing, making math concepts come to life.

Third graders worked hard to craft their personal narratives, pouring creativity and effort into their writing. Within this unit, students participated in meaningful teacher shares, reflecting on their progress and learning from one another—an essential part of the workshop model.

Students in 1-Berland are using a multimodal approach to explore science as part of our Light and Sound unit! 💡 As they walk around the school, they’re noticing their surroundings and writing down their observations, including the sounds they hear. It’s a fun and interactive way to bring science to life through movement, listening, and writing.

We are beyond thankful for Ms. McDonald, who not only teaches music but also helps instill the Profile of a Ramsey Graduate competencies in all of our learners. Through her lessons, she fosters key skills like communication, collaboration, and creativity, empowering students to express themselves and work together harmoniously 💙💛

The cutest families and the most thoughtful PTO! Thank you for providing a delicious holiday lunch for our Hubbard staff—it truly made our day extra special! 💙💛🐏

Mark your calendars HU family! 🎶 Our School Holiday Sing Show is on the 17th, and on the 18th, we’ll be welcoming families for a special performance. We're so excited to celebrate the season with music, joy, and community! 💙💛

Emotion detectives are being developed in Mrs. Frank's grade 3 class with Mrs. Linden. Our emotions can be very dysregulated during the holiday season. Now our students have strategies to employ when needed!

Ms. Diaz is developing fine motor skills in our preschools through JOY! Linking holiday chains and building a gingerbread house as part of the fine motor workout. The smile says it all!

Kindergarteners in K-Cammarata are practicing dictation with IMSE! This activity is essential for developing phonemic awareness, spelling, and handwriting skills. By hearing sounds and translating them into written words, students are building a strong foundation for literacy that will serve them for years to come.

Students at HU are fully engaged in Spanish class with Señor Becker! Through interactive lessons, they’re learning new vocabulary, practicing conversation skills, and exploring the richness of the Spanish language and culture. It’s a fun and dynamic way to make language learning come alive!

Mathematicians in Mrs. Shand's Kindergarten class engage in measurement activities by assessing various classroom objects, such as crayons, toy cars, and books, using a non-standard unit of measurement: connecting cubes.

And that's a wrap!! Thank you to all the family members for taking time out of their afternoon to be with us 💙
