As a reminder, schools are closed tomorrow in recognition of Rosh Hashanah.

Wishing a happy Rosh Hashanah to all who celebrate in our school community. May the new year bring joy, peace, and prosperity. Shana Tova!

β οΈ Navigate the school year with great success by downloading the Districtβs official school calendar. You can access the calendar through any of the schools or District's homepages in the blue menu bar!
Staying informed about Ramseyβs calendar is a crucial practice for students, parents, and educators alike. This simple habit can have a significant impact on planning, participation, and overall academic success.
An added bonus, Ramseyβs District calendar also includes an observance resource list. π

Happy October 1st from Hubbard School! Weβre excited to highlight the incredible cooperation shown by our Hubbard students and staff. One third-grader recently pointed out how books like The Bad Guys teach us that teamwork is the key to solving problems and helping others.
Through the literature we explore, students not only enjoy great stories but also learn essential life skills like cooperation. Letβs all take time this month to reflect on how cooperation can positively impact our school and community. Stay tuned for our next character trait of the month!

Hubbard School Pride Day tomorrow!! ππ

Of course the reading stamina grew in this classroom! Inspiring book bin titles (children should not think they are a reading level letter!), relaxing autumn cafe music and amazing partner talk! 20 days in! 1B is crushing it!

Confidence was high in 1C as the children recalled the words they knew in a "snap" from Kindergarten! They went off to write with great energy.

Incredible progress in the first Personal narrative unit in 1Sp 20 days in! It is amazing to see all of the skills the children brought with them from kindergarten!

First grade readers shop for books of interest & get cozy with them in "book nooks"! We are a community of readers!!

Hubbard PTO Meeting - 9:15am Tomorrow!

Readers in K-Sha were active listeners to their Star Book of the week, Caps for Sale written by Esphyr Slobodkina. Following the story students had the opportunity to collaborate and reflect on the story to retell. This experience guides our foundational reading skills of both comprehension and fluency.

Collaboration between teachers and supervisors is a key component to making our Profile of a Ramsey Graduate projects meaningful and so successful for the students!

Hubbard truly IS home! ππ The 3rd grade team is working together every day to enhance the student experience. This month, as they teach the character trait of cooperation, they're modeling it in action by supporting one another as a team and creating a positive environment for their students.

Registration for Fall Enrichment classes is open! ππ
Head to the District website and visit Families on the main menu, then Enrichment Offerings to learn more!

Our character trait of the month, cooperation, was in full swing in K-Col today as students worked together to achieve a common goal, completing a puzzle. Cooperation is a core life skill that's an integral component for both academic and social success. How do we agree and/or disagree to complete a task?

Districtwide Tommy Strong Day Tomorrow!
Go GOLD, wear a Hat Day, and/or wear βTurquoiseβ - all donations benefit the Tommy Strong Foundation.

How can we show kindness to ourselves and to others? Students in K-Sha listen to a story about kindness. Kindness is active, and makes the world a better place.
