Pumpkin and gourds are so interesting. Preschoolers said that they are βbumpy, green, orange, smooth, round, have stripes and look like a watermelon.β PKZ friendsdrew them with markers, painted them using easel paint and watercolors.

2R Ss collaborating and adapting to complicated challenges by building bridges with set materials to hold a book. They worked with Mrs. Linden to plot their feelings throughout using the mood meter as a tool.

Second graders in 2Cr collaborate to create posters on the 5 US Regions!

Children deepen their thinking when they turn and talk to one another in response to a read aloud in library and in many places across the school day. They make connections, build empathy for people with experiences they may never have and build off of each others' thinking to deepen their own.
