There will be no school for students tomorrow, March 21st, due to a Staff Professional Development Day.

Check out this center in Mrs. Zuccala's class! Preschool students are diving into discovery at their science center! This bird-themed exploration station allows them to observe, build, and learn about different species, their habitats, and how to care for nature—all through hands-on play and observation. What a perfect way as we begin to welcome Spring! 🌷

A love for reading starts early! This kindergarten student is diving into a book, building literacy skills and discovering the joy of storytelling with his teacher, Mrs. Shand 💙💛

Hands up for creativity! Ms. Megna’s art class is buzzing with excitement as students engage in thoughtful discussions and creative expression. We love seeing their enthusiasm for the arts! 🎨

Our second graders had an exciting day on their field trip, where they watched a show about Ellis Island and immigration! It was a wonderful opportunity to bring history to life and deepen their understanding of the immigrant experience.

Mrs. Pianoforte’s class is hard at work—look at those smiles!

At Hubbard School, it truly takes a village! 💙💛 Mrs. Diaz, our dedicated occupational therapist, is pictured here working one-on-one with a student, using a puzzle to strengthen fine motor skills, problem-solving, and perseverance. Her care and expertise help ensure every student has the tools they need to succeed!

Hubbard students participated in a bus evacuation drill today, learning important safety procedures to ensure they know what to do in an emergency. Ms. G also reminded students about the importance of safely crossing the street.

Students in Mrs. Spaccavento's kicked off a new unit in informational writing! Students are creating a book all about the specials they attend each week, highlighting their teachers and the exciting activities they enjoy in Art, Gym, Music, Spanish, and Library. ✏️

Hope our Hubbard students had a day filled with smiles, laughter, and a little extra luck! 🍀💚

Students all across Hubbard learned about the character trait of perseverance through different activities as part of School Pride last week. In K-Coleman, students practiced perseverance by carefully balancing multiple dice on a popsicle stick held in their mouths. This age-appropriate challenge helped them experience perseverance in action—staying focused, adjusting their strategy, and not giving up, even when the dice toppled over. How are you showing perseverance this week? Keep pushing forward and embracing challenges! 💪

Luck was in the air at Hubbard School today! 🍀 Students and staff had a shamrockin’ good time, dressed in green, sharing lucky smiles, and embracing the festive fun. Wishing our Hubbard and Ramsey community a day filled with luck, laughter, and lots of learning! 💚

March Mystery Readers in K-Coleman! Each day, our kindergarteners are treated to a special read-aloud from a parent, grandparent, or special guest. Hearing stories from different voices and perspectives makes reading exciting and fosters a deeper love for literature—what a wonderful way to build lifelong readers!

Spring Sing is just two months and a few days away! Our students have been practicing hard—stay tuned! Check out Ms. McDonald’s Schoology page if your child wants extra practice. 🎶

Happy Friday! Smiles are contagious at Hubbard School—spreading joy and positivity every day!

You take learning beyond the classroom! ☀️ Third graders took advantage of the fresh air, spending time together, building friendships, and unwinding after a day of hard work. A perfect way to recharge before heading home! Have a wonderful weekend 💙💛

Happy Math Day from Hubbard School! 🧮✨ We’re having a pi-tastic time celebrating the joy of numbers, problem-solving, and mathematical thinking! Whether counting, measuring, or exploring patterns, our students are making math come to life! 💡➕💛💙
