Last Friday, November 14th, four therapy dogs brought joy and relaxation to our grade 2 and 3 students!
Why it matters: The presence of therapy dogs can significantly reduce stress and anxiety levels among students and staff.
They provide comfort and emotional support, creating a warm and welcoming environment.
They help children develop social skills, increase self-confidence, and encourage communication.
The big picture: This initiative is part of our commitment to enhancing mental well-being and fostering a supportive school culture.
Whatβs next: Preschool, kindergarten, and first-grade classes will be visiting with the dogs during their next visit!
