Our preschoolers are busy exploring, learning, and having fun! Through hands-on activities, they’re not only growing socially and emotionally but also developing important language and communication skills. It’s wonderful to see their creativity, curiosity, and voices come to life every day!

Preschoolers in Mrs. Zuccala’s class are collaborating to build a sturdy structure! Block play is integral in preschool because it promotes teamwork, strengthens problem-solving skills, and helps children develop early math skills like counting, sorting, and understanding spatial relationships. It also encourages creativity and builds confidence as students see their ideas take shape!

Third graders at Hubbard School recently took a trip to South America—without leaving Ramsey! Students were captivated as their classmate’s grandparents shared stories about life in Colombia 🇨🇴, including their traditions, foods, and culture. This hands-on, authentic learning experience helped bring the world to our classroom. Experiences like these deepen students’ understanding of different cultures, inspire curiosity, and create real-world connections that enrich their learning journey at Hubbard School.
Students in 3Lajam are engaged during Reader’s Workshop as they actively explore new texts, jot down their thoughts, and discuss their ideas with peers. It’s amazing to see their enthusiasm and growth as readers.
Students in 3J are fully immersed and jotting down their thoughts as Ms. Jordan reads aloud to the class. This practice helps them engage deeply with the text, develop critical thinking skills, and capture their reflections as they listen!

The Ramsey Fire Department visited Hubbard School to teach our preschool, kindergarten and first grade students all about fire prevention and safety. We even got our own cool hats! #firepreventionweek
Students in 3Frank at Hubbard are focused and ready to grow! During our WIN (What I Need) period, third graders work closely with their teacher to receive targeted support and enrichment, helping each student strengthen their skills and reach their full potential. Every day is an opportunity to learn and grow.
Students in 3Lee are developing their ability to reason abstractly and quantitatively by creating story problems. Why is this important? It helps them visualize math concepts, build problem-solving strategies, and apply their learning to real-world contexts!
Today, third graders at Hubbard School had a special visit from Sean from INHABIT, where they learned the importance of breathwork and meditation. Sean guided students through calming breathing exercises and mindful meditation, helping them discover new strategies to relax and focus. These techniques will help our students manage stress and stay centered throughout the school day and beyond!
Third graders in 3-Li are sharpening their math skills by using place value patterns to add and subtract quickly and efficiently! By recognizing the value of digits and applying strategies based on place value, they are building a strong foundation for success in math. Keep up the great work!
Not only do we wear blue to stomp out bullying at Hubbard, we collaborate to play with one another! Collaboration and communication help us build strong relationships and develop character traits that will last a lifetime.
