Big Picture: Eight years ago, Ramsey became the first district in New Jersey to implement the Profile of a Ramsey Graduate. Built from extensive community feedback, the Profile has become the central thread for our mission, curriculum, and strategic goals.
The Next Step: Building on that success, our District Leadership Teamβs Profile of an Educator subcommittee is leading the charge to co-create the Profile of a Ramsey Educator.
The Goal: This new profile will be a collective agreement on the dispositions that make our staff exceptional. It will spotlight the qualities that empower educators to bring the Profile of a Ramsey Graduate to life for every student, every day.

π― The Ask: The Profile of an Educator subcommittee invites all stakeholders (staff, parents, students, and community members) to participate in an anonymous survey.
What to do: Please take 5-10 minutes to complete this survey by January 16, 2026, ranking the attributes, dispositions, and skills you believe are most essential for a Ramsey educator.
Target rollout: The subcommittee will continue its work, using your input to guide the development of the Profile of a Ramsey Educator, scheduled for launch this spring.
