Today, preschool, kindergarten, and first grade students welcomed Brody, the Ramsey High School therapy dog, along with other therapy dogs, for a special visit at Hubbard School. Experiences like this support students social and emotional growth by providing moments of calm, comfort, and connection in a school setting. Interacting with therapy dogs helps children build emotional regulation, reduce stress, and feel a greater sense of safety and belonging at school.
While second and third grade students will have their own therapy dog visits in the spring, Brody made a brief stop today thanks to Mrs. Linzenbold, bringing some extra holiday cheer and giving students the chance to say hello. It was a joyful reminder of the strong sense of community and care that makes Hubbard such a special place to learn.
