The State of the Schools 2025 report was showcased at the recent Board of Education meeting, presenting a detailed look at the District’s overall demographics followed up a detail report on progress towards intended outcomes and future strategies.

Why it matters: This pivotal report highlights the District's achievements and ambitious goals, emphasizing ongoing dedication to student success and community involvement.

  • The focus areas include academic performance, student development, learning environment, HR, finances, and community engagement, ensuring a comprehensive educational approach.

By the numbers: Many of the metrics are based on the annual survey administered this past spring which received 1,041 responses for the family survey and 281 staff responses.

  • Noteworthy increases in student achievement metrics include NJSLA Mathematics scores at 70% and ELA scores at 74% for 2024-2025.

What's next: Innovative strategies are set for the 2025-2026 academic year, with quarterly updates planned for Board meetings.
