We are thrilled to share the joyful growth of our new Hubbard Community Garden, a collaboration between our Preschoolers and Third Graders. Rooted in the Reggio Emilia philosophy, this project blossomed from the childrenβs natural curiosity and sense of wonder about the world around them.
Together, students explored soil, seeds, and the magic of nature. They asked thoughtful questions, made discoveries, and learned through hands on experiences. The garden is more than just a space for plants. It is a living expression of creativity, cooperation, and care.
As they built garden beds and planted side by side, students cultivated more than vegetables and flowers. They nurtured responsibility, independence, empathy, and respect which are core elements of RAMS RISE and the Profile of a Ramsey Graduate competencies that guide our learners across their academic journey.
The Hubbard Community Garden also connects learning across science, literacy, and social emotional growth, reminding us that curiosity is the seed of lifelong learning. Just as importantly, it reflects the support of our Hubbard community including families, staff, and students working together to grow something special that benefits us all.
The Hubbard Community Garden is a space where wonder, learning, and character grow together. We invite you to stop by, take a look, and join us in celebrating the incredible growth your children are planting each day.
