The students of 4Guarnieri had an enriching experience during the Picturing America Art Appreciation Program, which aims to inspire a deep appreciation for art and foster an understanding of diverse artistic mediums and American art history! As part of the program, students explored the significance of quilts from the 19th and 20th centuries, diving into their cultural and historical importance. Following this, they had the opportunity to create their own quilt designs, each reflecting their own stories! Thank you to Mrs. Owen for her generous support in leading this presentation!

Dater 5th Grade students from 5Wissell/McGowan listen closely to Ms. Fiedeldey as we immerse into our Literary Essay unit. Students are learning how perspective can impact a story and what to look for when reading independently.

📚 The Dater Author Visit was a huge success! Thank you to the PTO, the English department, and of course, Chris Grabenstein, for making it happen! The students learned valuable life lessons, while also laughing a lot! Great job to the students that introduced and interviewed Chris Grabenstein.
