This April, our school community proudly recognizes Autism Acceptance & Neurodiversity Month. This is a time to celebrate the diversity of how people think, learn, communicate, and experience the world.

Neurodiversity reminds us that there is no single “right” way to be. Every individual brings unique strengths, perspectives, and ways of understanding, and our community is stronger because of those differences. During this month, we focus on fostering acceptance, building understanding, and creating spaces where all students feel valued, supported, and included for who they are.

On Friday, April 17th, we invite our school community to wear blue as a visible way to show support and solidarity. Wearing blue is one small way we can come together to recognize and uplift neurodivergent individuals in our community and beyond.

Throughout the month, students will engage in age-appropriate conversations and activities that promote empathy, respect, and appreciation for one another. Our goal is to continue building a school environment where every student feels a strong sense of belonging and is empowered to be their authentic self.

Together, we celebrate differences, practice kindness, and grow in understanding—because every mind matters.
