The 6th grade took a field trip to Medieval Times! Students have been studying the Feudal system in their social studies classes; they got to watch a dramatization of a Medieval Joust, see replicas of Medieval weaponry, cheer on knights, and enjoy period-inspired foods. Huzzah!

Mrs Csengetoβs 7th graders are working hard on their Unit 1 performance assessment in which they will highlight their thinking work and showcase the pattern they uncovered while reading realistic fiction.

35 STUDENTS!!!
In addition to this worldly Ram Fact, 27 different languages are spoken at home!

Congrats, RHS!

Today at Smith School:
Critical thinking requires students to think about the world from various angles and perspectives. This week, students had to design a new way to teach the Feudal Hierarchy that did not use the traditional triangle shape.

We have great reason to be proud of the efforts of our Arts Department staff and students, and are truly excited about the future!

Impressive fact :: This data suggests that more students are enrolling in Advanced Placement (AP) courses. AP courses are designed to be more challenging and are often seen as college-level courses. An increase in enrollment indicates that students are seeking more rigorous academic challenges, and their confidence to do so is soaring. Congratulations Rams!

Tonight is the night! The stars will be out at Eric S. Smith School, at 7pm! Do not miss the STAR-STUDDED EVENT featuring Broadway performers as well as the performances from our own Ramsey students!

Exciting news! With the dedication of our staff and diligent commitment of our students, this is quite the honor!

Awesome teamwork!
The 6th graders did an amazing job creating physical models that represented how people see shadows. They brainstormed and collaborated and then tested out cause and effect when seeing shadows!

Middle school years set the stage for high school and beyond. Students at Smith rose to challenge and performed beautifully with their accomplishments!

Ms. Garcia's students demonstrated superb Week of Respect qualities today as they assisted in the setup of our 2023 Scholastic Book Fair! Huge shoutout to these incredible students for contributing their time & effort and for demonstrating what it means to be a Ramπππππ

A sea of blue & gold for Smith School's Student Council elections!
Candidates for Secretary, Treasurer, Vice President, and President had an opportunity to address the student body about what they can do for their school community.
And of course they had Rowdy cheering them on! πππ
