S.T.E.P. celebrated La fête de St. Nicolas with the French club today! Madame Vlasova taught us about the history of this holiday, new French words, a song, & fun traditions. Together, we all made shoes to leave outside for St. Nicolas to bring us "bonbons", or candy, & enjoyed delicious French pastries. What a fun & engaging collaboration.
S.T.E.P. Is partnering up with another former student assistant on her profile project to help create wellness bags for patients at Valley Hospital undergoing chemotherapy. We love hearing the personal connection students have to their profile projects & are excited to be able to help by assembling the wellness bags & creating inspirational cards to be strong. Go KIND AND THOUGHTFUL Rams!

RHS Senior, Grace Lynch, is organizing a holiday toy drive as part of her Profile Project! Donations can be brought to the Ramsey Public Library from December 8th-16th. Educational toys are suggested, but all toys are welcome! 🛻🪆🎁
RHS's Unified Bowling team joined Coach Caserta's bowling team for some practice and fun. The bowling alley was filled with strikes, spares, & friendship today. 🎳
This year, S.T.E.P. has been asked to help with a few of our friends' profile projects, and we are ecstatic we can collaborate and contribute our strengths and skills. Planning for Kayla's profile project on learning about and implementing calming strategies took place today, and we are looking forward to seeing it all in action next week.

To end our human population unit, students in AP Environmental Science went to Union Cemetery today in Ramsey to collect data on human survivorship before and after the 1900s. The entire class was able to analyze 380 humans including some familiar Ramsey names - see if you can spot them!
