Elizabeth Acevedo's novel, "Family Lore," has won the NAACP Award for Outstanding Literary Work in Fiction! RHS will welcome Acevedo on April 25th for a day of immersion in her poetry, spoken word art, fiction and cultural connections! 🎉📚

The food items represent themes from plays like "Moby Dick," "The Glass Menagerie," "A Raisin in the Sun," "The Elephant Man,"Oedipus Rex" and other classic and contemporary plays. A delicious exercise in creativity and critical thinking!

We had an oil spill clean up simulation lab in AP Environmental Science this week. Students were able to choose between 6 different clean up methods to test and rate their effectiveness. Some AP psychology babies joined in on the fun as well!

The RHS STEM Starters Club 🧪 joined two 4th grade classes at Dater for some science and engineering fun! One class was challenged with building the tallest spaghetti tower and the other learned how to make colorful water "walk" across paper towels.
