Dater is Batty About Books! Our Book Fair is this week! Wednesday is Family Night from 3pm - 6:30pm.

We have great reason to be proud of the efforts of our Arts Department staff and students, and are truly excited about the future!

Impressive fact :: This data suggests that more students are enrolling in Advanced Placement (AP) courses. AP courses are designed to be more challenging and are often seen as college-level courses. An increase in enrollment indicates that students are seeking more rigorous academic challenges, and their confidence to do so is soaring. Congratulations Rams!

Tonight is the night! The stars will be out at Eric S. Smith School, at 7pm! Do not miss the STAR-STUDDED EVENT featuring Broadway performers as well as the performances from our own Ramsey students!

Check this out!
Friday's 5th Grade Retreat was a community building success! "All hands on deck" to make this an amazing experience for Dater students in promoting a positive school culture.

Exciting news! With the dedication of our staff and diligent commitment of our students, this is quite the honor!

"Teamwork makes the dream work! " Fourth Grade students worked together to solve problems and support their classmates at the Fourth Grade Retreat. Ms. Guarnieri's homeroom class worked together to build their classroom community and enhance their teamwork skills.

Ramsey student success creates and tells the story. We truly are so proud!

SMITH STRONG! πͺ
Let's make it a great week, Ramsey!

Tennis, anyone? Mr. Ramsden and Ms. Calandrillo's students are participating in a tennis ball roll activity for their Energy Science Unit. Students are learning about energy and motion. Later, they will analyze their data to construct a CER (claim, evidence, reason) about how force affects motion.

The facts are piling up - Ramsey is a GREAT place to learn and grow.
Have a great weekend, Rams!

Our Did You Know series continues - with Ram Facts showing strength in numbers!

Ms. Doherty's G.A.T.E class uses the Scientific Inquiry Process to observe how "germs" spread from organism to organism. Students experiment with simulated "germs" and UV lights to determine which type of soap works best to mitigate the spread of disease.

On Friday, we celebrate our last day of the Week of Respect. Spirit Day is also on Friday! Don't forget to wear Dater gear or blue and gold to show respect for our school, classmates, and community!
