Yesterday, the Sullivan sisters, Alexa (Grade 2) and Avery (Grade 4), visited the Board of Education offices to record the inclement weather announcements for the 2024-2025 school year. The lucky winners of the RPEF raffle did a great recording their extremely cute early dismissal, delayed opening, and snow day announcements! β

5th grade writers generated ideas for research writing, participated in a gallery walk, and then revisited their own list. Afterwards, they reflected on how this collaboration helped them.

Last Friday, all of the 5th grade students learned about public speaking, as a way to gear up to start their TED Talks. 5Gesualdo/Thomson loved having this opportunity! Thank you to Monisha, an RHS student, for inspiring us!






Math in motion! 4Chaparro/Ramsden students diving into centers, tackling multiplication and division concepts with creativity and focus!






Daterβs 5Aujero and 5Wissell/McGowan classes took a virtual trip back to Ancient Egypt with our VR goggles! These young geographers dove into history to explore how the Egyptians thrived 4,000 years ago, thanks to their unique geographical advantages.









Math students in 5Thompson teamed up for a journey through a virtual escape room! π§©π Their mission? To sharpen their skills and reinforce their knowledge in preparation for an upcoming unit assessment. Each puzzle they solved brought them one step closer to victory, and their excitement was contagious!


4th grade students play "Lo Tengo" in Spanish class to practice their school supplies! βοΈβοΈπππ The class is divided into 2 teams. Each student gets a photo of a school supply. SeΓ±orita calls a school supply out loud in Spanish. If the student has that photo, they call out LO TENGO and hold up their vocab card! The first team to call out LO TENGO wins a point!
