Smith School's students get a special visit from Ramsey Police's K-9 unit! Students in Ms. Mahoney's class have been conducting research about Police Dogs. Today they listened to a local officer describe the process of becoming a police dog, essential duties, and answer student questions about police work. They also got to watch Jack the Police K9 in action as the officers simulated Jack's tracking abilities🐾 Huge thanks to the Ramsey Police and Ms. Mahoney for coordinating this special opportunity!

8th grader Brooke & Ms. Garcia prep their advertising space for the first ever Best Buddies Pop Up Shop! Best Buddies is an organization that creates meaningful friendships between students with disabilities and their peers. The club has successfully organized multiple activities and are now creating the pop up shop to raise money for our first ever Best Buddies trip and for future events.
