Sophomore Parent Night is in full swing at RHS. Pictured is Mrs. Kilday leading the introductory warm up "The College Admissions Game". Parents will get a general overview of how students can maximize their Ramsey High School experience from Director of School Counseling, Ms. Lemma Taha. Parents will attend breakout sessions with their teen's counselor. The counselor will convey important information to parents help them to work with their teens in making informed decisions. In addition, counselors will continue to build relationships with families.

The Council for Exceptional Children (CEC) is the largest international professional organization dedicated to improving educational outcomes for individuals with exceptionalities, students with disabilities, and/or the gifted. CEC advocates for appropriate governmental policies, sets professional standards, provides continual professional development, advocates for newly and historically underserved individuals with exceptionalities, and helps professionals obtain conditions and resources necessary for effective professional practice. The conference featured cutting-edge Professional Development and networking opportunities. A wide array of sessions were geared to meet the interests and needs of those working with children with special needs. Kaylin Bessler, Ramsey High School Social Studies teacher, presented the following at NJCEC: Empowering Education with Artificial Intelligence (Al): Strategies for the Classroom.
