π Tonight is Ramsey Jr. Football & Cheer night as the Rams take on Lakeland! Be there to cheer on our Rams and you just might run into one of Rowdy's best buds! #EatMorChikin

RHS Volleyball has been named NJ.com's mid-season "Surprise" Team: "After going 6-16 in the 2023 standings, the Rams have shined to an 11-3 record through Oct. 8. Five of those victories have come in overtime matches, showcasing a maturity that Ramsey can close out the game when the stakes are high."

Congrats to senior Sophia Dallara, who was named a candidate for the "Midfielder of the Year Award" by NJ.com!
Sophia is part of the elite soccer talent all around the Garden State. NJ.com selected contenders in 10 categories for the 2024 edition of midseason awards, including forward, midfielder, defender, goalkeeper, rookie, sophomore, comeback player and coach of the year.

Congrats to Kendall Reid, who was named, "Sophomore Sensation" by NJ.com!
"Reid earned her spot on the field last year and provided an offensive spark for a team that got over the hump and won the Group 2 championship. Reid scored 19 times as a rookie. She has 12 goals halfway through this season and is putting herself on a trajectory that could lead to 100 career goals. " Brandon Gould, NJ Advance Media for NJ.com

Congrats to Hope Ernst who was named North Jersey.com's Rookie of the Year!
"Ernst popped in arguably the most important goal of the season for the unbeaten Rams β the lone tally in a 1-0 win over Ramapo back on Sept. 12 that reshaped the title race in Bergen County." Sean Farrell, North Jersey Media

Congrats to Katie Rubin, who was named Girls' Soccer Defender of the Year by both NorthJersey.com and NJ.com!
"At times, it's seemed like everything has been working against Rubin. The senior not only had to deal with a broken thumb, she also had to acclimate to two new outside backs around her and a revolving door in goal due to illness and injuries in net. But Ramsey has put up even better defensive numbers than it did last year on the way to a state title." Sean Farrell, North Jersey Media

Today AP Music Theory got a visit from Mr. Papson, a professional bouzouki player, to hear some Greek music and to learn about Greek musical traditions and modes! Guest star Maria Papson helped out on a few songs to end class!

Great coffee and the best delivery!

That's the smile of an employee who was just praised for his work ethic and the quality of his job! Hudson received his first "high-five" from one of his coworkers and couldn't be more proud of himself. Keep on shining, Hudson! We are equally as proud of you.

Milestones, Pascack Valley Regional School District's transition program, joined forces with S.T.E.P. (18-21) for a social bowling outing. Developing interpersonal skills is an essential component of our transition curriculum, and authentic opportunities like these are key in their learning and growth as young adults.

The rumors are true...The Ramsey Bean is back in action. We are looking forward to frequent district-wide pop-ups this school year AND weekly pick-me-ups at RHS! Brewing kindness everywhere we go all thanks to the support of each school's administration, staff, and PTO. βοΈ

Today we celebrate National Custodian Appreciation Day!
π Big impact: Think of all the hours theyβve put in, often when no one is around to see β prepping for events, cleaning classrooms, waxing floors, sanitizing every surface, and making sure everything is in working order. They create an environment where students and teachers can thrive.
π¬ A few words of appreciation can go a long way! Today is the perfect time to say thank you to custodians who work tirelessly to keep our schools ready for learning.

Wishing a happy Rosh Hashanah to all who celebrate in our school community. May the new year bring joy, peace, and prosperity. Shana Tova!

β οΈ Navigate the school year with great success by downloading the Districtβs official school calendar. You can access the calendar through any of the schools or District's homepages in the blue menu bar!
Staying informed about Ramseyβs calendar is a crucial practice for students, parents, and educators alike. This simple habit can have a significant impact on planning, participation, and overall academic success.
An added bonus, Ramseyβs District calendar also includes an observance resource list. π

Best Buddies at RHS is back in session! What a successful first event. We made friendship bracelets, participated in serenity stations, and had great conversations. Looking forward to a great year together.

Performing Arts Seminar finishing off the week sharing our recent work and performances!

Spreading kindness wherever we are! S.T.E.P. created flower arrangements to beautify our new shared staff space at Ramsey High School. We hope this brightens up everyone's day when entering the room.

Congratulations to Angus and his team for competing in their THIRD Special Olympics triathlon down in LBI! We are so proud of you and your hard work, Angus. Go Rams!
*Wondering why our uniforms are red and blue? These colors represent the union between Lakeland and Ramsey Special Olympics.
