Fox in Socks Day was a blast! Students rocked their silliest socks to celebrate Read Across America Week!

Our second graders had a special visit today from the Ramsey Police Department! πβ¨ Students got the chance to learn about fingerprinting and how it helps officers in their important work. This hands-on experience was not only educational but also a great way for students to connect with our local officers. A huge thank you to the Ramsey Police for taking the time to engage with our students and share their expertise!

A novel way to celebrate Read Across America Week! Our Hubbard students participated in a book swap, bringing in a book to share and discovering new favorites in return. Read Across America Week also means welcoming mystery readers into our kindergarten classes! πβ¨A Hubbard alum returned to read to her brotherβs class, making this moment even more special. She even got to stop by and say hello to her former third-grade teacher, proving that once youβre part of the Hubbard family, youβre always HOME. Connections that last, traditions that continue, and a love for reading that brings us all together! ππ




Collaboration in action! ππ Our dedicated Hubbard teachers come together for a faculty meeting to share ideas, reflect on best practices, and continue growing as educators. These meetings are essential for fostering teamwork, professional development, and ensuring we provide the best learning experiences for our students.


HU preschool students use shaving cream for sensory exploration, fine motor skill development, and pre-writing practice, allowing children to explore textures, shapes, and letters in a fun, engaging way.



Kicking off Read Across America Spirit Week in style! π©π Today was Cat in the Hat day, and our students showed their spirit by wearing their favorite hats! We canβt wait for a week filled with fun, creativity, and a celebration of our love for reading.








Tomorrow is the PTO Book Swap! Every child will be coming home with a book and a bookmark!

What a fun way to instill a love for reading! π 2-Finnegan students got to come to school in their pajamas and build forts as part of their in-class celebration! This celebration was earned by working together and following our class charter, showcasing the power of collaboration and teamwork. Itβs wonderful to see how our students are developing a passion for reading in such a creative and engaging way!
