Today Dr. Matteo met with the Superintendent's Student Advisory Council at Hubbard over lunch. Mrs. Linzenbold, Mrs. Linden, Dr. Matteo, and the dozen third grade RAMbassadors discussed ways to improve indoor recess at Hubbard. After discussing this topic about 15 minutes, they visited classrooms to observe and talk to students about their ideas to improve this time of the day. The group will reconvene in the new year to continue the conversation and start to put some ideas into action. #TheRamseyExperience

Today, our third grade ambassadors met with Dr. Matteo, Mrs. Linzenbold, and Mrs. Linden to discuss ways to improve recess. Students gather data on what they see, use their wonderings to guide their thinking, and work together to create changes that help our school community grow in positive ways. ๐Ÿ’™๐Ÿ’›

As part of our celebration of inclusion, two Ramsey High School students and their teacher, Mrs. Margarita Diakos, visited the Hubbard library to read aloud to Mrs. Weissโ€™s third grade class. Julia, a senior at RHS and a student teacher assistant in the STEP classroom, shared her love of learning and her dream of becoming a teacher next year. A beautiful moment of connection across our Ramsey schools! ๐Ÿ’™๐Ÿ’›โœจ

This morning we gathered as a school to celebrate two incredible educators: our Teacher of the Year, Mrs. Burkhardt, and our Educational Services Professional of the Year, Ms. Chiu. Moments like this remind us why Hubbard feels like home. We are a community that champions one another, supports our students with lots of heart, and continues to grow together with the help of our wonderful families. What a special way to start the day and kick off Thanksgiving weekend ๐Ÿ’™๐Ÿ’›โœจ
