
Students in Ms. Guarnieri's class at Dater are deeply engaged in biographies!







Dater students and staff showed up today in mismatched socks in recognition of World Down Syndrome Day. In addition to the festive foot attire, students also received a powerful presentation in their homeroom class about WDSD.



The Dater pep band performed the halftime show at the Wizards game and enjoyed a nice pizza dinner for all of their hard work.

4Davidson and O'Rourke celebrated Pi Day by learning about pi, making a pi(e) about themselves, solving a color by number, and making a pi chain.









Thank you to Lilah's mom for a wonderful Picturing America presentation, where students in 4Davidson had an opportunity to add to the painting.

Game day with Wissell/McGowan! So much fun!



Students in Mrs. Wissell's math class had the real world experience of ordering from a menu as an individual with a limit of $50 and as a group with a limit of $100. This real world application of the skills of adding and subtracting decimals was highly engaging and effective!



Students in 4Kirch/ McLaud Humanities had the opportunity to share their insightful opinion essays with their classmates. Presenting in front of the class is a great way to build confidence and sharpen up their public speaking skills.





Dater students had a blast at the Wizards game! They loved seeing their principal and teachers shoot some hoops. πππ Also, great job to Mr. J and the pep band for putting on a fantastic performance!! π·π₯πΊ Thank you to Officer Beamon and the Harlem Wizards for setting up such a fun and entertaining night!







Great job to Girl Scout Troop 98133 who presented at Dater's Spirit Day assembly about their service project today. They are collecting donations of toiletries and new or unopened baby products. It will all be donated to the Children's Aid and Family Services of Bergen County. Deadline to donate is April 11th. Way to go, girls!
