What's happening: Dater School is proud to be in the process of becoming a certified No Place for Hate School. Our homeroom class representatives collaborated to brainstorm several creative themes to launch this important initiative. All Dater students were given the opportunity to vote, and the students selected a basketball theme - β€œDater Rams: We Pass Respect, We Block Hate.”  This week, students and staff came together during our morning meeting to take a unified, schoolwide pledge to promote kindness, respect, and inclusivity.

The big picture: Achieving the No Place For Hate designation aligns with broader educational goals to nurture empathy and social responsibility among students.

  • This effort also strengthens community ties and enhances the overall school climate.
