😬 Say cheese! RHS students are serving looks for the yearbook on picture day!

Chris Singleton inspired our Sophomores today with his powerful message of unity, empathy and resilience. Through his story, he reminded us that love is stronger than hate and that compassion can bridge even the deepest divides.

In Mrs. Leschak’s Environmental Science class, students have been engaged in designing experiments this week. They collaborated in groups to create their experimental designs, which they then presented to their peers in small groups. This collaborative approach allowed them to receive valuable feedback and reflect on their designs. 🧪 🐠

🍁🍂October is the perfect month to read a good book! Students in Mrs. Rodriguez's English class chose their Unit 1 books today, focusing on American culture.

AP Research students participated in a "Research Question Speed Dating" activity today to get valuable, actionable feedback from their peers on their initial ideas. Great work collaborating and refining those research questions!

🍂 Are you fallin' in love with Best Buddies as much as we are?! If you can't tell by the smiles in these photos, Best Buddies had an incredible time at the farm this weekend while hanging out together. Photo shoots, hayrides, corn mazes, pumpkin picking, apple cider donuts, and laughs were the essential ingredients in our recipe for this perfect fall day. 🍁

🏃🏻 Members of the RHS Cross Country team were thrilled by a surprise appearance during a weekend meet at Great Adventure by XC alumnus Simon Jiang, enjoying a brief break from his studies as a first year cadet at West Point.

🌟 Attention Future Leaders! There will be an interest meeting for Student Congress Grade Level Representatives on Friday 10/3 in the Media Center during Activity Period. As a reminder, Student Congress is made up of 10 representatives from each grade who work to improve the school culture through events, fundraisers and pep rallies!

🧱 It's time to build your own adventure! The RHS Media Center officially added a new LEGO Village to RamLand! 🤩 Come marvel at the tiny brick wonders, get inspired, and maybe even find a hidden minifigure or two.

Want to help our LEGO Village grow? We're gladly accepting donations of any gently used LEGO bricks, sets, or minifigures! Drop them off at the Media Center or Main Office during school hours. Special thanks to Mr. Lyle for the first donation to our brick village!

🏈 Home football games aren't complete without a trip to the snack stand. Where else could you buy a salted pretzel, triple cheeseburger, fries, and a Gatorade all while being greeted and helped by the best volunteers possible?! Ramsey's Athletic Association and Ms. Diakos's S.T.E.P. students are hoping to see you at the next home game. Go Rams 🐏!

Our first Best Buddies social of the year was a huge hit! We put the "friend" in "friendship bracelets" and the "serene" in "serenity stations" with some quality time spent coloring, puzzling, and just chilling out. It was an afternoon packed with good vibes, creative crafts, and the start of some truly awesome connections. It was so fun, that even Ms. Wohlrab made an appearance to make a bracelet of her own. Students in Mr. Royce's Profile Seminar course engaged in a gallery walk, leaving feedback on classmate's "Who, What, Why" posters. Students are ideating on possible projects and areas of focus.

Talk about a garden glow-up! 🌱 Ms. Diakos's and Mr. Clark's S.T.E.P. students from RHS teamed up with Ms. Diaz to give the Hubbard School garden some very much needed TLC! They're putting their homemade weed killer to the ultimate test, clearing the way for a year of hands-on learning with their Hubbard friends. It's awesome to see everyone working together to make our community shine.
