Yesterday, our third graders enjoyed the annual Bike Rodeo! 🚴♀️🚴♂️ It was a great day of learning about bike safety, practicing new skills, and having fun together. Thank you to all the volunteers and the Ramsey Police Department for helping make this event such a success! 💙💛

K-Col students enjoyed their Look 👀 and Star ⭐️ Books with a partner. Elbow to elbow, knee to knee. They noticed several red words while sharing their favorite pages and parts of a story.
Yesterday when Mrs. Powley discovered a tree frog on our door scanner, our preschool scientists were eager to investigate. 🐸 Using their science eyes, students observed closely, asked thoughtful questions, and shared their ideas through conversation and drawing. In true Reggio-inspired fashion, this moment of curiosity naturally connected science and literacy as students used language to describe, wonder, and make sense of the world around them. The frog was safely returned to nature, leaving behind a lasting sense of wonder about the world around them. 💚

There is nothing sweeter than seeing a preschooler read. 📚 As they flip through the pages from left to right, they are beginning to make sense of pictures, build early literacy skills, and tell stories in their own words. Each page turn brings them closer to becoming lifelong readers. 💛
Our amazing Hubbard PTO worked hard to set up the annual Pumpkin Fair, and it was the perfect fall day! 🎃💛 We loved seeing kids being kids, laughing, playing, and making memories that make Hubbard feel like home. Thank you to our PTO for always going above and beyond for our students!
Our second graders visited the Meadowlands Environmental Center today, where they became true Salt Marsh Explorers! Students observed landforms up close, investigated the plants and animals that live in this unique habitat, and made real-world connections to their current study of landforms in science and social studies. It was an exciting day of discovery and hands-on learning for our young scientists!
