In Mr. Schrettner's Classroom (Smith School): The past, present, and future collide today in 6th-grade social studies as students present their end-of-unit project. Students were tasked to create a proposal to the U.S. Congress on a potential new memorial. Throughout the process, students reflected on how memorials bridge past, present, and future conversations.
The Smith Best Buddies made a “chain of kindness” that is decorating the main office. The club members and staff decorated links describing acts of kindness, people who are kind, and inspirational quotes💖

Today in 7th grade science is part two of an exploration of our cells. Yesterday, students observed cheek cells and today they are observing their skin cells to see similarities and differences between our body cells.
Mr. Jenkins and RHS Band members came down to visit the 8th Grade Band at Smith School! Students learned all about the RHS Band program and had a blast practicing their music together. Let's go Big Blue!
