JERSEY CITY, N.J. — Community members, local officials, and family members gathered at Liberty State Park for the annual Empty Sky Remembrance Ceremony to pay tribute to the lives lost in the terrorist attacks of September 11, 2001. Held against the backdrop of the iconic twin steel walls that frame the Manhattan skyline, the poignant gathering offered a space for reflection, unity, and solemn honor.
Serving as master of ceremonies for the event was veteran broadcast reporter and Ramsey High School alumnus Glenn Schuck (RHS Class of ’81). Schuck guided attendees through a meaningful afternoon filled with commemorative remarks, a presentation of colors, and musical tributes
