What happened: On Monday evening, Ramsey High School hosted its annual scholarship event, awarding over 194 scholarships totaling more than $144,000 to our incredible seniors.
Why it matters: Funded by local businesses, non-profits, foundations, and community groups, these awards do so much more than ease the financial transition to life after high school. They recognize hard work, encourage future achievement, and prove just how much our community believes in these students.

Congratulations to Grace Direnzo who took home the second annual Carl and Terri Matteo Scholarship. This scholarship, sponsored by my siblings and I in honor of our parents 50th anniversary, recognizes a student who displays character, kindness, and inclusivity.
After reviewing all of the wonderful applications, my parents proudly chose Grace to be this years recipient after selecting Sophia Dallara last year.
