Eight years ago, Ramsey led New Jersey by introducing our Profile of a Ramsey Graduate, ensuring our students develop essential life skills like empathy, adaptability, and critical thinking. Today, we are proud to complete that vision by launching the Profile of a Ramsey Educator.
This work came out of a subcommittee of our District Leadership Team, which is part of our Collaborative School Leadership model.
The subcommittee, led by Mrs. Cairol (Director of Human Resources) and Kristen Reidy (Hubbard teacher), co-created the Profile through direct interviews and surveys with our staff, this framework defines the shared values and qualities that make our schools so special.
Why "Educator"? We believe that every adult has a profound impact on our students. We intentionally use the word Educator to unite everyone, from the classroom and main office to our school buses and cafeteria teams, under a single, shared identity. Every interaction on our campuses is an opportunity to inspire a child.
