Ramjams

Ramsey High School’s premier a cappella group, the Ram Jams, have officially punched their ticket to the International Championship of High School A Cappella (ICHSA) Finals. After a standout performance this past weekend, the group was named the ICHSA National Wildcard Champions, securing one of the final nine spots in the most prestigious high school vocal competition in the world.

This victory marks a historic milestone for the program: the Ram Jams have now advanced to the National Finals five times in the last six years.

A Community Call to Action: While the group is "local" to the New York City finals, the prestige of the event is global. The ICHSA Finals feature the top nine groups in the country, many of whom travel thousands of miles for what is often a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity.

The Final Push: With the Finals scheduled for April 24, 2026, the group faces a logistical challenge: raising $10,000 in just 20 days. The funds will cover essential expenses including travel, lodging, and New York-based rehearsal spaces from April 23–25.

The RHS Chorus Parent Association, a registered 501(c)(3) non-profit, is spearheading the fund drive to ensure every student can participate regardless of financial standing.

How to Help:

Show your support! "These students are among the best in the nation. We would love to see a massive wave of Ramsey supporters in the seats at The Town Hall this year to show these students what their hard work means to this community." -Director, Matt Wolf
