This week, the RHS Wind Ensemble and Concert Band showcased their talents at the North Jersey School Music Association (NJSMA) Concert Band Festival, a platform for the best high school bands in Northern New Jersey.
Why it matters: This festival offers our students a chance to present their hard work and receive expert feedback from seasoned adjudicators.
The RHS Concert Band, led by Mr. Andre Baruch, earned a Silver Rating.
The Wind Ensemble, under Mr. Josh Jenkins, bagged a Gold rating and an award for Best Percussion Section.
An historic invitation: For the first time, the Wind Ensemble has been invited to the prestigious State Gala Concert.
This honor is awarded to only the top 4 bands from each NJ region.
Ramsey will perform among the state’s top 12 high school bands on Sunday, April 26th.
