Ramsey High School proudly hosted the inaugural competition of the North Jersey Debate League on Tuesday, marking the official start of the competitive debate season.
The RHS campus buzzed with intellectual energy as seven top Bergen County schools converged for the tournament. In a unique format, competitors engaged in rigorous debate rounds throughout the regular school day, testing their critical thinking, research, and persuasive speaking skills.
The competition showcased the impressive talent of the Rams, with special congratulations going to two of our outstanding debaters:
Abby Rostkowski (Junior)
Declan Finnegan (Junior)
Abby and Declan represented RHS with distinction, both earning well-deserved Third-Place Speaker Awards for their eloquence and depth of argument. Their success is a testament to their dedication and the strength of the Ramsey Debate Team.
