Hope Ernst and Lizzie Rubin have been named the top field players for girls' soccer at the mid-season point by northjersey.com.
Ernst was also recognized as a Sophomore Sensation by nj.com.
The big picture: Our girls’ soccer team, traditionally known for its defense, is now an offensive powerhouse with Ernst, Rubin, and Kendall Reid leading the charge.
Ernst has scored 16 goals and has 12 assists.
Reid and Rubin have 13 and 11 goals respectively, with Rubin also contributing 18 assists.
