book break

Get ready to connect with the literary world like never before! RHS is thrilled to introduce Book Break, a new program designed to give students an intimate, engaging way to interact with authors, playwrights, and creators. Book Break offers a unique opportunity to go "behind the scenes" of beloved works, explore the creative process, and ask the burning questions you've always had.

Book Break events will take place live, with students invited to attend either with a dedicated student pass or as part of a classroom led by their teacher. For those who cannot attend the live session, or wish to revisit the conversation, a link to the recorded event can be requested.

🎭 Tomorrow: Gatsby Goes Broadway!

Kickstarting the series is our exciting inaugural event:

Gatsby Goes Broadway: Reimagining A Classic with Kait Kerrigan (9th-12th Grade)

Students are invited to this month's Live Book Break event, taking place tomorrow, Wednesday, October 1st (D Day), from 10:00 AM to 10:30 AM in the Media Center.

Join us as we go behind the curtain of the Tony Award-winning musical The Great Gatsby with playwright and lyricist Kait Kerrigan.

In celebration of the 100th anniversary of F. Scott Fitzgerald’s iconic novel, The Great Gatsby, you will hear firsthand how Kait Kerrigan has transformed Fitzgerald’s words into a vibrant, contemporary musical. Discover the process of making the roaring '20s feel alive and relevant for today's audiences.

Cannot attend live? You can request the link to watch a recorded version of the event.

Please RSVP to attend or to request the recording link.
