What's happening: The Ramsey High School Jazz Band performed at the NJAJE State Finals on Saturday, May 3rd.
🎶 The preliminary round, which was held at the beginning of March had 50 bands perform.
🎶 In this event, there are three divisions based on school size, with the top 9 bands in each division qualified for State Finals.
🎶 Every band performed three songs of contrasting styles and afterwards, sight read a piece of music that they have never seen before.
🎉 Ramsey played their best performance of the year and earned 3rd place overall.
